New Exhibits at the North Myrtle Beach Museum

Pirates, Privateers and Buccaneers

The South Carolina State Museum’s traveling exhibit will make patrons avast (that’s stop in pirate lingo) and gasp as the world of pirates comes alive, opened Thursday, March 20 at the North Myrtle Beach Area Historical Museum, March 20-September 28. Call 843-427-7668 for additional information.

North Myrtle Beach Area Historical Museum is dedicated to preserving the culture and history of the region. The Museum accepts donations of local photographs and memorabilia documenting daily and seasonal activities in northeastern South Carolina.

Located at 799 Second Avenue North, the Museum looks for opportunities to bring the wider world back to the community through engaging programs and educational events.
