Neighborhood Watch Update

September was a busy month for the Neighborhood Watch. Due to scheduling conflicts with NMB Department of Public Safety, back to back meetings were held on the 21st and 22nd in addition to a Committee Meeting on September 8th.

A workshop was held on the 21st led by LCpl Stephen Murphy, NMB Community Services Division. He focused on Benefits and Leadership of a Neighborhood Watch, Responsibilities of the Committee, Block Captains and Community Coordinators as well as Qualities of good leaders and Building participation.

The Open meeting on September 22 that focused on Traffic Issues in Barefoot was led by LCpl Stephen Murphy, NMB Community Services Division. He focused on the anatomy of a traffic stop:

The Open Meeting also focused on Golf Carts: State and local laws governing golf carts

Low Speed Vehicles (LSV) are different than a golf cart.
